Sítio das Fontes (Municipal Park of the Springs) is a unique natural area where numerous high-flow springs flow from the largest water table in the Algarve.

The 18-hectare space includes a reconstructed Algarve house, a Nature Interpretation Centre, an open-air amphitheater, walking trails, a picnic area and a mill, as well as the Casa do Moleiro (miller house), both restored.

Due to its natural beauty and ecological importance, the existence of several springs of great flow and the historical-cultural heritage, the space is traditionally used by the locals for leisure activities, such as picnics, the celebration of festive dates or just to contact with nature.

The place also hosts some summer events, such as the Lagoa International Jazz Festival.
